EasyReliableDBA: New 2022 OCI Certification Courses and Exams now available

OCI has role-based certifications for cloud architects, cloud operators, developers, DevOps engineers, data scientists, and security professionals. We also have an entry-level certification that can be taken by anyone, including business professionals.

Data Management certifications include certs on Autonomous Database, Database Services, Migration and Integration, and Oracle Machine Learning using Autonomous Database. Similar to OCI, Data Management also has an entry-level Foundations cert that can be taken by technical or business professionals looking to demonstrate fundamental knowledge of data management services provided by Oracle. Platform certs include certifications on Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Integration Services, and Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA).

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) 2019 Architect Professional exam (1Z0-997) exam is designed for individuals who possess strong enterprise knowledge in architecting using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services. This certification validates advanced concepts of OCI services to control infrastructure, such as but not limited to: High Availability and Disaster Recovery, Data Migration, Network Connectivity, Monitoring, Data Retention, Storage and Databases. This certification is available to all professionals that were previously passed the OCI Architect Associate Exam.

Target Audience A Solutions Architect Professional:

• Design a solution using architectural principles based on customer requirements.

• Has a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts

• Design and deploy, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on OCI

Exam Preparation

To successfully prepare for the 1Z0-997 – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional 2019 exam certification, it is recommended that you have a minimum of 12 months of hands-on or industry experience in architecting or implementing cloud infrastructures at enterprise level (preferably an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tenancy). If you are unable to obtain hands-on experience, it is strongly recommended that you get as much practice as possible in labs or test environments. We also highly recommend that you become familiar with the content covered below. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) training is frequently updated to reflect the OCI services. We recommend that you reference the latest documentation to ensure that you have the latest information about the services.

Exam Registration Process

Ensure you have a login for Oracle exams delivered through Pearson VUE.

To create a login,

go to http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle.

To register for the certification exam:

• Go to http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle.

• Select Sign In under Oracle on top right.

• Use your Pearson VUE account to log in.

o Do not create a new account if you cannot remember your old account information; use the Forgot my username or Forgot my password links to recover your information. Creating a new account can create logic issues resulting in certification information not being processed correctly.

• Select Proctored Exam.

• Type 1Z0-997: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2019 Architect Professional and select Go.

• Select how you want to take the exam and follow the prompts

When you are ready to take your exam, please register with Pearson VUE (http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle). Note that it can take multiple weeks to sit for an exam, so be certain that you register for the exam multiple weeks prior to when you plan to take the exam.
